Exercise your Body, Improve your Mind, and End suicide!
We are asking a few of our key partners to rally their friends, family, and networks to support our work. By becoming a fundraiser for Community for Hope, you will help more individuals in Winnebago County, and you'll help your friends feel good about doing good.
During the month of March, challenge yourself to work out from home 3 times per week and document your progress! walk up and down the stairs, follow a YouTube workout, jump rope, walk your dog, be creative! Exercise can improve mental wellness, and improved mental wellness reduces the risk of suicide!
In fact, research has shown that adolescents who consistently engage in regular physical activity, have a significant reduction in suicidal thoughts and attempts.
Let's promote physical activity and reduce the risk of suicide!
